The phrase that comes to mind whenever I pull this card is, "You make the magic happen, baby!" I looked at the card and saw the sword, which brought cutting something to mind, cutting calories? Cutting off excess weight? The wand in the magician's hand looked like a barbell to me, and I thought of exercise. The disk looks like a plate and could represent eating well, the cup - drinking plenty of water, but I really like what the Galaxy App had to say:
"When you get this card in a reading, you have the potential to make things happen. The key to having control of your life is to have a vision and then take the action to make it happen. Intention and action are both required. When your intentions and actions are aligned, real magic occurs!
Start gathering the resources you need to meet your goals. The universe is empowering you to manifest your vision. Take advantage of this opportunity by staying focused on your goals and applying your power!"I did feel empowered after this reading and made a quick and simple plan in my head right there. I'm following through on that plan today.
Good for you Siddaleah. This is a sound advice. First the plans and after that the action. And remember every day is a new day.:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ellen. I have been very grateful for being able to start new each day lately. :-)
DeleteI love how you can get so much out of a card, in a way you've never seen it before, even though you've seen that card a million times :) Glad to hear you have a plan, feel empowered, and are putting the plan into action!
ReplyDeleteI love that too. Often I don't even look closely at the cards and just fall back on the meanings I've memorized. I'm trying to take a closer look and make more associations with the images I see.
DeleteI love the Magician. It's a great EMPOWERMENT card. You need a mantra like: I can DO this. Whatever gives you anxiety or you feel insecure about it--just repeat that! Good stuff! I also got the Magician on the same day you did! :D
ReplyDeleteI just looked again at the card and noticed that the Magician is in a sort of John Travolta "Stayin' Alive" pose, so I looked to the lyrics of the song for a mantra and picked this line: "Got the wings of heaven on my shoes
DeleteI'm a dancin' (wo)man, and I just can't lose"
Love it! :D
DeleteThat is hilariously awesome! I love that. It really is a disco pose...
DeleteYes, you have the power! :) and Muchas Estrellas!!!!!
