Memo

I just wanted to mention, for anyone who hasn't noticed, that I started a new blog called, "Project Me," where I'm writing about the work I'm doing to live the life I truly desire and become the person I am meant to be. The link is in the header. That is all. :-)

Four of Wands Affirmation

I am thankful for my success and proud of my role in achieving it.
Four of Wands  - Joie De Vivre Tarot

When I think of my success I'm thinking especially of my family.  We are a close family with so much love, and my children are really great people.  I'm so proud of them.  My husband and I have built something together that is really special.

It's interesting that so far each of the cards I've pulled for affirmations have been wands.  It's so appropriate for someone who is trying to learn to love herself and change her life.  It requires a real fire-in-the-belly sort of ambition, which the wands represent.

Ace of Wands Affirmation

I'm full of creative energy, and that which I imagine, will be!

Project: Me!

The time has come for me to start taking control of my life again and make some changes. I'm starting small. This week I'm committed to doing a 7-day green juice challenge that I saw over at Food Matters.  I won't be changing my eating habits at this time, apart from adding one green juice a day to my diet.  I hope to make that a new lifetime habit, but for now I'm going to see how I feel after seven days.  My husband bought me a new juicer which arrived the other day, and he picked up some veggies on his way home from work yesterday.  He's already put more work into this project than I have. Ha!

This juice is cabbage, lettuce, spinach, one Granny Smith apple, half a small lemon, and a bit of ginger.  I could easily drink a tall glass of this every morning.  (The cleanup is another thing, but I'm committed, I tell ya!)

And since this is a tarot journal, I figured I'd draw a card everyday as a sort of affirmation.  My Joie De Vivre deck is the one I love to use when I'm looking for encouragement or a little bit of kind self-talk.
