Find the Light

Five of Coins - Joie De Vivre Tarot
The Five of Pentacles is one of my least favorite cards to see in a reading, but this version of it offers hope that I don't see as readily in other versions.  That's why the Joie De Vivre Tarot is one of my favorite decks.  I always choose it when I need a loving, gentle voice.

The thing that stands out for me in this card is the light being offered by the candles.  My message for today is when you're in a dark place, look for the light, and there is always light.

"Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby."

  1. Lovely quote. And the 5 of Pentacles is about money worries or health worries or general life worries--but I think it isn't so bad. I have been working on not taking my fears so seriously!!! Wishing you well, MM

    1. Yep, money, health and general life worries. I've been stewing in them! I'm working on the same, and trying to turn my attention to what is going right instead of only seeing the problems.

  2. I think worrying is natural. For me, resisting the worry makes me more anxious. Sometimes voicing the worry, asking it what it wants to reveal or help you with, or what practical step you can take to help right now, helps a little more than avoidance. Hugs. But you know better than anyone what calms you and makes you feel empowered. 💕

    1. That's good advice. I agree. :-) I have had a couple of really dark days that were quite frightening lately, and this was one of them, where I struggled to find any hope at all. Thankfully, it didn't last. When I come out of one of those moods I'm always astounded and oddly intrigued by how all-encompassing the darkness seemed, how at the time, I thought it would never end and there was no way out, and then the dark mood lifts like it never happened. When I come out of it I make a little mental note, "Next time, tell yourself it WILL get better. There is always hope," because I honestly forget that on those dark cloud days.
